Default How long before destruction?

I had my passenger side CV boot rip a while ago. It has starting doing the clicking noise. Its been clicking for maybe a little under a month now. How long before the joint breaks? I just dont have the cash right now to repair it.

It will normally just make noise and be annoying but I would change it out a.s.a.p cause it could break. I would suggest http://www.raxles.com

I would like to know as well, mine broke open about a month 1/2 ago and still no noise yet but I would like to replace the passenger side axle soon so I don't face a much bigger problem....

I think what I've read on here is $75 bucks w/ return cores for new lifetime axles from Autozone.

Collect bottles and cans for a few weeks and use that money to buy new axles? Get a job?

I find it hard to beat autozone's deal...and its the only thing I'll ever say about them.
Lifetime warranty and core trade-in value...its a good deal

I have a job, but I just got cut down to one day of work out of the week It freaking sucks. I would go the Autozone route, but I replaced my driver side axle with one of theirs, and now I have a click/knock coming from tranny everytime I start moving after a dead stop It was never there before I put the Autozone axle in.
