Strange TPS voltage reading..
Well after much procrastinating I went out and bought a multimeter to test my TPS after everyone told me that was most likely the problem since I've replaced just about everything else that has to do with high throttle bogging and funny idle. So I learned how to use it and hooked it up the red wire and got a reading of 4.5V at idle and .5V at WOT, which is exactly the opposite of what it should have been! I didnt adjust it at all because I was kind of baffled with the results I got. Does anyone have any clue what the issue could be, or if I should unscrew it and start trying to adjust the TPS to .5V at idle and 4.5 at WOT?

that's the right way to do it.. but i usually go straight back to the battery's (-)
ok, let's try this. hook the black lead to the battery's (-)... use the red lead and check the other wires on the tps.
for the yellow/blue wire, you should be getting close to 5v.
on the green/blue wire (green/black if it's obd2), you should get 0.1v
and i'm assuming you were checking the red/black wire for the tps voltage so forget that one.

Ok, imagine you are looking at the throttle body from the firewall out towards the bumper. Does the Harness plug point up and to the left, or down and to the right?

to X-ray. Yes that should be correct.

I also have a tps problem, its ******* awesome, all of my voltages read back perfect, no electrical problems what so ever... woot ghosts in the machine, so now I;m going to replace my tps just because.
now... is there ANY reason you can think of on why the voltage might have been reversed? (i.e., you just bought an aftermarket tps, or tb... you just bought the car and this was the first thing that happened when u drove it, someone installed some mods into your car... ANYthing...?)
if u always had the car, and this NEVER happened before, replace the tps

i got the same tps problem, are these voltages at idle or wot?
thanks
