MTF Recommendations....
I am going to change the MTF in my 96 Accord LX. I plan on unsing Honda MTF but was looking for any other ideas. I have been reading that Pennoil Snycrmesh might be a good choice. I live in Michigan and I need true all weather capability.

I will prolly use Honda MTF. But I belong to several car sites and some others had some other suggestions. One even said Pennziol Syncromesh was great for Homda MTs.
So I was just checking to make sure I was using the best there is.

I think Honda didn't start selling MTF until maybe '97. Before that their manuals called for 10w-30 engine oil. Honda MTF is good in those older cars, too.
I've used synthetic engine oil before, it didn't hurt anything, but didn't work as well. The synchros are like little clutches. If the oil is too slippery they won't work their best.
