Default 16x7 or 17x7 or 18x7 - for a daily driven lowered 4 door Teg

Just trying to decide between 16x7 or 17x7 or 18x7 wheels for a 99 4 door GSR.
It is lowered with Koni yellows + Ground control Coil overs so I will be able to raise or lower the car if needed. I am also planning to roll the lips with my buddies fender rolling machine.

I have a dedicated set of wheels for the track/auto-x. So, current plan is to have this set of wheels for daily use.

1- Which size fits the integra without rubbing issues. Which wheel size looks good?

2- Pros and cons? Like Tires are expensive for 18" wheels? Handling is affected badly by a 17" wheel etc?

There are some Ok deals going on currently. Following are the ones I am considering

1- Brigs 17x7 forged wheel approx $850 shipped
only 14 lbs=> Top preference as I can use it for auto-x also at a later stage
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=969658

2- Velox wheels 16x7 for $500 17x7 for $575 and 18x 7 for $625 shipped
approx 17 lbs each
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1057746

3- Buddy club 17x7 approx 575 shipped
Not sure abt the weight

btw before someone says serach....Idid. Thanks a lot

go with the 16x7... 17's on a teg are just too big

I would go with the Velox, only because they are 16". I really like the the Brig Mag5, but they only come in 15" and 17". My vote is for the 16" wheels. 17's just look too big for some reason.

Go for 16's, my DA is 50mm down all round on coilovers rollin on 16's and I don't get any scrub noise and they look cool...as was said 17's look too big on a teg

My teg is lowered 1.75 inches... and with 17's the ride is heavely sacrificed, so 16's are the way to go

Thanks for the replys....
Will there by any noticeble difference between 15's and 16's?

As far as "good looks" are considered, does 16's considered better ones than 15's?

With 15's there are so many choices....you get pretty light weight ones also on 15's which can be used for auto-x prurposes?? Tires are also cheap on 15's

thanks again.............

he said for daily driven..15's are for hardcore daily drag racer.lol

16's are good enough to show off and go mode..50/50 well depends on brand

On 16x7, Velox seems to be the good deal around.....also, new Falkens doesn't come in 15's?

It doesn't seem like he wants 15's since it was not listed as one of his choices. I told him to get the Brig's, but they are very hard to find in 16", they are available in 15" and 17".

16's will be a nice size for the teg, plus you can have some alright sized tires to make the ride nicer.

I'd say go for the 16s in your case. The reason being that 17s+ just look too big on an Integra IMO, and tires are cheaper. As for 16s vs. 15s, it's just up to you. I have 15s currently on my DA, and IMO, it's a good size for the car.

Since it's a daily, get the 16's because of tire/rim cost. Although I love the Brigs, and 850 for a forged wheel is highway robbery.

18's are out of the question. The diameter would be bigger than factory which would result in your speedometer being off. Gas milage would go up though

i'd go with 17's. they look perfect on a teg, and sometimes even look too small. i wouldn't go with anything larger though. i could careless when everyone tells me to go 15" or 16" rims, i just think it makes the car sit too low to the ground and the rims look too small for the car. here's my car with 17's on...do they look too big? tire sizes are 215/40/17 and hopeing to go wider soon.
