what bearing sizes
you need to clearence your bottom end to figure out the bearings you have to buy, there, its pretty easy if you have the stock bearings that came with the motor,
there are a few ways to do this
get a helms manual so you know all the specs that the motor should be at if you rods are new you need to stretch the rod bolts to get accurate readings
clean the stock bearings and put them into the rods and tq the rods to spec, and use a dial bore gauge to check the ID of all the rods
then use a micrometer to measure the OD of the rod jurnals on the crank
subtract the rod ID from the crank OD and thats the clearence, you can ajust it bigger or smaller changing the bearing colors
do same on the main caps, if your using new bolts or studs, stretch them, and tq them with the oem bearings in and measure and the same on the main jurnals on the crank. while your at it check for roundness and taper, and side to side play on the crank.
if you dont know what OD and ID is, or how to use and read a bore gauge then you better bring the motor to a shop.
if you dont want to be as persice, you can put the stock bearings in and put the crank in the motor and use plasticgauge to check the the clearence.
