themostat and temp sending unit??

hey some strange overheating and crazy reading from my temp gauge (goes up and down quickly some times based on electrical load)

i am just going to replace both items. same as usdm b16a2 parts?

this is in a 93 civic with obd1 harness and stuff

subscribin. similar prob on my ek4 (temp needle not workin right).

i changed the temp sender unit for new oem 1 and didnt help. coolant temp rises and drops as normal accordin to my power fc so doubt its thermostat. coolant was changed less than a year ago.

 

changed everything and wired fan for always on.

overheating GONE for now...
