Default noise Coming from head 99 Si

Ok There is a noise coming from my head it's sounds kinda of like Valve Chatter but only at idle and it's the same sound the head is stok except cam gears. Block is b16 obd1 with knife edge crank, 9 to 1 pistons, bored a little , H- Beam rods, AZ blocked deck , ARP head studs. I had alot of valve chatter before I put the block in when I had the block put in I had them also adjust valves now I have this noise anyone have an idea on this?

i think LMAs, if they tick without any rythm, it's the lost motion assemblies.

My JDM B16A does the same....I had my valves adjusted and it didn't change it, so..... Bump for an answer. I've heard it could be LMA's, injector tick, and a few other things.

Yeah my JDM 2nd gen b16a does it too, only at idle!!! I remember when I did my D16 mini me and the heead had a ticking sound also, so I did a valve adjustment, and it was still the same so i went to a shop, and I watched them do it, and it still sounded the same. So I don't Know!!! But I remember reading some post and someone said that honda motors tick alittle! So I don't know what to tell you! And my internals are stock.

most people don't realize that there injector's do make a clicking noise , they think its there valves....lol not saying it couldn't be something else thre always a chance .. but if u had ur valves adjusted chances are its not them

I don't know...just a thought, from past problems I have notice that a sticky pcv will cause a tick also.
