themostat and temp sending unit??

hey some strange overheating and crazy reading from my temp gauge (goes up and down quickly some times based on electrical load)

i am just going to replace both items. same as usdm b16a2 parts?

this is in a 93 civic with obd1 harness and stuff

Try thermstat fisrt, the housing should be OK.
Flush the radiater too.

 

changed everything and wired fan for always on.

overheating GONE for now...

 

I wouldnt leave the fan on all the time. It will eventually burn out.

 

it's just until i upgrade the teeny stock radiator
