removing girdle on b18c...new bearings?
I am trying to install my new crank scaper on my JDM ITR motor. In order to do so, the block girdle has to be removed, crank scraper installed and then girdle replaced.
When I remove the girdle, that will release pressure on the main caps and therefore release pressure on the crank bearings. Is this something I should be worried about? Should I inspect the bearings and replace?
