Default changed the valve cover...got smoke

Well i got a used valve cover off of someone on HT. I cleaned it out...stripped it and polished it and put it on my car....also changed the gasket. When i fired it up i got some liquid come out of the exhuast. I think its clear and also some white smoke. Is this normal. Should i put the stock cover back on?

The valve cover doesn't affect the engine's running as such, won't cause smoke anyway...water is nothing unusual nothing to worry about really

Start the engine and leave it running for a while, if its only condensation then it'll disappear after a short while.
