Default emission problem on stock b16a2

heres the story: stock b16a2, still unboosted, cai and open mufler.
vafc completely set to zero.
idle: co is ok (0.01) lambda is 1.18 (lean)
3000rpm co is 8.2 lambda is ok (1.00)

can annybody see the logic in this? annybody ever had this problem?

only a few days untill the next emission test.

Buy an Air/Fuel ratio gague. You will need one when you go boost anyways. Than you can adjust your VAFC perfectly. Or Go eManage and buy the support tool and hook it up to a lap top. ALL you need to do is Stay 14.7:1 to stay stoiciometric.

An air/fuel gauge isnt going to show you anything good.. If you want to get your 14.7 air/fuel then get a wideband and tune with that, or go to a dyno..

Are you running some kind of afc hack or anything? Where is your ignition timing set at?

no no you got me all wrong. my engine is stock with cai and open mufler and an afc set to zero. the readings i mentioned above where on a real exhaust gass emissions tester. and if i adjust the airfuel with my afc then co will rise.
annybody? thanks.
