Default how do i get the finagen pin out from my engine bay

how do i get the finnigin(pronounced FIN A GIN) pins out from my engine bay,

it keeps getting stuck between the synchronized chain dampener and the extended alloy

retentioner

please help i need the racecar done for this weekend tHanks guys your the best

im thinking theres too much phosfate lube in the housing assembly

you have to remove the 4.7 diff housing with the trans pin parting tool

I think your problem lies in the phosphate lube. all cars after 1973 require DOT8 lube and from the sound of it, you're using DOT3

just replace your blinker fluid... and change out the winter air from the tires.. you'll be alright..

I think you have to remove your muffler bearing and that will give you some slack to loosen the finnagain pin.

ok thanks guys i did everything that you guys said to do . . . BUT when i changed the blinker fluid i Also changed my headlight fluid and i found gold shaving in the fluid . . . thats right guys i think i spun a headlight bearing . . . NO good guys now i have to change out the whole housing

If you loosen the 14 bolts holding the womulator shaft in place, it should give you alot more play in the finagin pin and makes removal SOOO much easier.

****, i put too much lube on the ratchet compactor, and now the car blew up . . .

should i solder it back together with a soldering iron ??

Sounds like you discombobulated the shank tube. Just torque the rotary line(the one in line with the johnson tube), and use the finkle bar to recombobulate it. Then fill it with A-1 lube, or mix with heinz 57 for better winter time protection.
