Is there a difference between the headers on a 1995 Civic and a 1996 Civic EX?
The 95 has the D16Z6 and the 96 a D16Y8, need to know before I get a header.

 

in terms of bolt pattern i don't think so... only difference i saw on putting a header in my y8 was the O2 sensor placement was different... i jsut used some wire and extended the sensor...

 

yes there is. I had a y8 motor before and tried puttin one on from a z6 and didnt clear the bottom.

 

really i put greddy headers on a y8... but idk...

 

y8 pan bottom is closer to the ground that the z6 pan, meaning if the secondaries are close to the pan on the z6, they will hit the bottom of a y8 pan...however, many manufacturers make it so the clearance is enough to work with both pans...

your best bet is to check part numbers and call manufacturer as well...
