OT: I Just saw my idol.
For those of you that remember the good old days, when everyone had avatars, some of you may know I am a Michael Jordan fan. Well I just went to see him play for the first time in my life...I feel truly privileged.
I got to see him light up last year's Eastern Conference Champion for 19 in the first quarter...sadly, my beloved Wizards lost. But I wanted to offer you all this lifelong piece of advice - if Jordan comes to your city, go see him play. No matter how old he is, there is something about seeing greatness right before your eyes, the kind of player/competitor/soldier/icon that only comes along once in a generation. a museum...go see our generation's greatest living artist perform on NBA floors.
Ross - who has had way too much alcohol and secondhand smoke
and not enough food today.

Car is almost ready...exhaust and tires is all I need and I'll be rolling. should be done by next weekend.
but back on topic - Jordan transcends economics. He's the closest thing we have to God in our society - he does everything on his own terms, answers to no one, and cannot be stopped. Marriage breaking up? no problem, drop 96 points in 2 games. Got the flu? no problem, drop in 40-something against the Jazz. The fanatacism for this guy borders on idolatry...what little kid didn't have a pair of Jordans? Hero-worship at its finest.

Yeah, you must be bombed because Jordan blows. Oh, wait, he did have 30 last night, right?
Kiddin', BTW.
I live in Milwaukee where he has the highest scoring average per game against the Bucks. Bastard!
Milwaukee.... where real
is made.

but here is the difference...Jordan may not jump as high as Vince does, but you can not stop Michael. Nothing can stop him from getting the shots he wants. Vince just isn't that kind of player. He can be shut down and contained; Michael can't.

hey the guy's gotta be a little arrogant...I'm not surprised. I have heard about the negative side of MJ, trust me.

Arrogant? No. I have talked with him personally. He lives by me and his kids go to my sisters school. He's a nice guy. I remember hearing a story of how one time a kid in a wheelchair wanted a picture with him and the fathers camera had run out of batteries. Jordan waited 30 minutes while the father went to get new batteries.
I got the chance to see MJ play when he was still playing on top of his game when he was playing for the Bulls. It was awesome, Jordan, Pippen, Kukoc, and Rodman on the same floor. The best part was, it was good seats, because my mothers client has season tickets, and he couldn't make it to a game, so he gave it to her, and she gave them to me. The seats were 2 rows above the Bulls bench.

There's been a couple times this season that MJ has been shutdown. Remember the 6 point performance? As for Vince, I don't think he's the total package. If I were the Raptors, I would have kept T-Mac over Vince as he is more complete.
Jordans awsome, sucks he's having trouble with his wifey. Anyway make sure you pick up "The Globe" it has a HUGE article about mike in it. I doubt its all true but i was amazed!!!
I saw him drop 50 on the Lakers back in the early 90`s..damn that was a long time ago!!!!!!!!
I also saw him drop 69 against the Cavs on TV. Also seen him make countless game winning shots. But my all time favorite move by MJ is the baseline drive where he had against the Knicks in the 93 playoffs. He drove to the basket with Starks on him, then Charles Smith (I think), jumps in front of him so he drives back away, and he's double teamed, then all of a sudden he shakes both of them, and goes up for a jam over Ewing. It was one of the most sweetest moves I've ever seen in my life. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
