CHANGING BRAKES HELP!!!
i got my front wheel off and my car is being held up by a crappy jack, how many bolts do i need to take off the pads ? i swung the caliper up after taking off 1 bolt but i can't get the inside brake pad off the font of my car how is it released ??? please help fast !!!

ya, just pick the one that will fit the backside of the caliper to the piston. or try using your hands/thumb technique.

got non that work on cars all i got are you guys ..lol, i have done quad brake wich are similiar a million times i feel like such a noob, gotta learn some how
everything is on except the caliper piston is sticking to far out to swivel it over the pads. The pads are about a 1/4" bigger then the room that you have to slide over. The piston is not compressing. Is it supposed to sit flush because right now it is out about 1/8"? How to i go about this now? I have a c clamp and it is not pushing the piston in.
Try using a pair of pliers to twist the piston back into the caliper. They also sell a universal tool you put on your ratchet that can help you twist the piston down. They have it at most auto stores like kragen , and autozone .
i picked up a big c clamp and got it thanks everyone for the help..anyone got any good articles on brake bleeding mine needed bleeding before i needed pads
