In another post there was a pole between the two from BFG.
G Force and T/A Well what im confused about is that fact that the G-Force is called
G-Force T/A Drag Radial. Which one of the two is the bad *** one everyones talking about?

thanks man. Yeah thats the one that looked right. $112 each. For a 15" SI rim on my 99Si, do you think a 225/50 would fit? If im gonna get these i want the most contact. 205 just aint enough. Or is it? for 400whp

Neither the 205's or the 225's will hook up perfectly on the street with over 400 WHP, but take your gearing into consideration. The 205 is 23.1" tall, the 225 is 23.9" tall. AFAIK the only difference between the two tires is the tread pattern, they use the same compound.

You might as well go 225 the price is so close. How much does your car weigh? Im assuming you have an Si if so you should hook 400 fine in 3rd/4th and probably in 2nd if ur suspension is decent enough.

AFAIK? whats that. How will the 23.9" tall affect anything? yeah speedo thats about it. So will the 225's fit on a stock si rim?

theres no way the 225 will fit a stock 6 inche rim
you will need the 205/50/15

a taller tire will change the gearing if that makes any sense. it will give you more mph per gear, which in turn helps traction. i hope i explained it alright.

You are better off getting a race-only set of rims for the front, you should use at least a 7" rim for 225s to keep the sidewall more square.

the hell it wont. Ive done it. and so have others

Get the ones pictured above. the older ones suck. I guess they work better for RWD supposedly. but these ones hook pretty hard. If you are pushing 400whp these will still give you a hard time. i blzed mine up a few times on like 350-375
But deff go 225's

What kind of rubbing issues do you have with your 225;s? My front tires are smoke and its time to replace. currently i'm on bridgestone 205/50.

99si with coilovers, so i can change the height. I'm due for an alignment anyway.

So for those of you who drive regularly on the newer BFG's, how many miles have you gotten out of a pair?

Also, how is the handling?

i don't daily drive.. mostly when its around track night.. i'd place them one and have them for day or few.. sometimes during fall or spring i may put them on. i lost count of miles driven.. but it should be at least 4-5k on these if not more. i don't do much of spinning, just enough to get the water of

i have 205 on 6". i don't think wider will help without more wheel behind it
