after installing the crossed drilled rotors, my car makes these weird noises. When i am driving i can hear like the brakes are scratching the rotor? or is it somethin else?

ANYONE had this problem b4? its getting me pissed, wanted to know wat to look for b4 i take it off again

Yep, Same problem. Has it been windy recently? Whenever it get windy for me dirt and grim will build up over time and will get in between your brakes and rotors. It will sound like crap until it goes away!

 

It's a very common problem.

 

i fixed the pass side, now the driver side is doing htat?

 

did you use the brake lube and lube teh slides when installing the new pads?

I've used both brembo rotors and ebc pads before and never had any issues like that.

 

i didnt use no lube just direct bolted on

Did you change the pads at the same time? Could be a dumb question, but you didn't say that you changed the pads.

 

yeah i changed both.. i dont have the screws on the rotors to hold the rotor down,.. can that be it?

did you use brake cleaner before installing?

 

One problem you have is that you bought an EBC. I prefer Axxis Ultimates. You may have one of one of the clips that hold the pads in crooked. I did that once and it made all sorts of noise until I fixed it. HTH

 

u should just burn out all day, warm up the rota, than it well be good in use
