I've heard you can do the swap on any d series motor. Just as long as its a 16 valve engine to start with.

yes. you can do it with non-16 valve engines too, but you have to swap pistons. the only difference on the d15 v. the d16 is the crank. you could stroke a d15 by putting a d16 crank in it. but the block is the same.

There's a super Mini-me write up, don't know if you've read it:

While you are building the mini-me, I would also put in a new water pump, thermostat, and of course fresh oil. You will also need a VTEC head gasket (D16Z6 or D16Y8, Y8 one is supposedly cheaper), and a D16Z6 timing belt. Also, don't forget to pull out the oil control jet in the B7 block. It is located between cylinders 2 and 3, on the firewall (rear) side of the motor. Good luck.

use a 1.6 block, put the flat top d15 pistons, with a d16z6 head, with a y8 intake manifold and header, should be pretty good. I have a d15 wtih a z6 head, headers, exhaust, and its decent. You cant fit the d16 crank in the d15 block, the journals are different, the only way is if you machine the d15 block

for your DPFI to MPFI conversion, see Rywire.com
We can convert your DX harness for you and you can purchase the parts from us. All you need to do is send us your DX harness. If you send your O-1 jumper, we'll solder the pigtail wires together for you on a firewall quick disconnect like factory wiring.
