just get a b18c1 or a b18c5 and then spend the rest on tunning and building it

Look at you vin number to find the chassis code...it should be ED

The b18c1 is the gsr engine while the b18c5 is the integra type-r engine.
b18c is the jdm gsr engine and the b18c spec-r is the jdm type-r.

b18c1=GSR
b18c5=type R
b18a1=ls
b18b1=ls
you could go with a LS and turbo charge it. i had one in my 90 hatch and ran a 12.076@116mph. you can proly get this for about 6'gs. hope this helps you and good luck.
p.s your car is a EF for sure

do something with boost. more than likely an ls(b18a/b) or perhaps a b16. if you can come across a good deal on a gsr(b18c1 usdm) get that. ive put together 2 turbo kits for my cars in the past year, and if you decide to do that, expect to pay between 2000-2500 for the turbo ****, which leaves you 3500-4k for the motor

If I had 6000 cash I would either do a built na lsvtec or a boosted stock block b18a/b with good management..So many other choices though..

i only said that cause i knew it would **** u off. But on a brighter note, i would buy a b16a1 and have it built. the way i wanted to do it but i was stupid, would be to buy a b16 head and have it get the works along with an LS Bottom getting tottaly rebuilt. Thats the way i would do it but everyone has there own way.
