What's all needed for the Skunk2 IM install?
So far I know you need, the TB (duh), throttle cable bracket, type r, throttle cable and misc hoses?
Do any of the sensors off the GSR IM fit the Skunk2 IM? If not which sensors do you need to buy, and what TBs fit it?
Also if you have any more usefull info please let me know.
Thanks.....oh and I did search. I can't find the exact answers. If you do know of another thread that'd be helpful though, please send it my way.

All the stock sensors fit and bolt right on, all you need is Throttle pulley, throttle cable, throttle bracket all of which are type r except pulley, that i think is every other civic or integra. i also believe you need longer fuel rail studs

That is a very useful thread, i used it many times.

yeah you need a new throttle pulley if you want to use the type R bracket and throttle cable on the GSR TB, those are really hard to find cause they arent sold separately from the dealer.
I think if you want the clean look you are better off getting the Type R throttle body or a STR one which can be pulled both ways, just remember you need to save your TPS and Map sensors off your old TB though cause the aftermarket one doesnt come with it.
you probably need to extend the IACV wires too make sure you isulate it properly otherwise it will short and your ecu will burn.

well, that is the often omitted part of the install.
The IACV wires are really short due to the higher position of the skunk2/type r Style. some people say you can stretch the wiring by undoing the tie clip underneath, but I would rather solder and extend the wires the proper way.
BTW, you can always run the GSR throttlebody the way it is unmodified, but you cant use the R throttle cable, and the GSR cable might hit the underside of the hood. if you want the clean look you gotta find a Non GSR pulley or buy a type R or aftermarket TB.

oh yeah i forgot one more think the rubber fuel line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail is a bit short. you can get it to fit, but it is super tight. I heard you can bend the metal arm a little, but what I did was buy a Brand New type R fuel Line and it fit perfect. (70 bucks at the dealer
)
BTW the LS one is the same. If you want your skunk2 mod to look real clean you gotta dish out the extra $$$ to buy the R parts, but if you just want it to work, then you dont have buy all the optional parts.
It's a bitch but worth it in the end of you love your car like I do.
