Default O2 sensor code and cel, no vtec. Can't get rid of code?

I replaced both O2 and there is still a code. When I reset my ecu, as soon as I started the car cel came on. Can this cel cause vtec not to engage. I would like to get rid of code no matter what of course.

I am having some major brain scattering on trying to fix this problem. It is an amature problem and I can't get around it.
