swaped crx not getting up to temp HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok did the swap new water pump, radiator, coolant lines 180 stat. checked everything but cant find the remedy the lower hose is always cold if i drive the car but if i let it sit for 30 min then it gets up 2 Temp. then if i drive it hard it stays warm if i chill then the temp drops to about 1/3........? the if i just drive the car it goes to about 1/3 and if i bring it to 5500 rpm or higher the temp drops to cold wtf??????????????? not to mention its 30F outside but that still shouldn't matter..should it????
I have seen this often at work, in accords, civics etc... Thermostat has always done it for me. Does your engine have a coolant bleed valve? Did you go with an oem thermostat?

the stat is brand new 180 degree, and it is working (lower hose is cold untill it warms up ideling) as for the bleeder i don't know because it had a hose connected to the front of the head to the fitv valve but cut it today and pluged it and seemed to let it warm up better but if i chill it still goes cold
