i recently purchased depo foglights for my car and it says that i have to put the 1 pin connector(red/black) to the number 2 connector in the fuse box but theres already a pin connected to it along with an orange wire. what is that orange wire for?

I believe you can slice that wire with the fog wire

 

but what is that orange wire for?

my starter kill wire is orange so it could be that

 

ill probably just splice it and see if it works. thanks!
