Default MSD Ignition on VTEC

Hey guys im having a real big problem on my MSD ignition system. I put the new Msd cap on and pulled out the coil and now on the igniter theres 4 wires on the inside. Can any body tell me were these wires go in this thing cause im having a no start problem.

I really don't know what you are talking about. Are you running an external coil? There should only be two wires inside that cap.

seriously - what year accord would help as well.

are you trying to run an external coil or a full MSD ignition system?

yeah, year/model and motor would help

But if your just trying to convert to an external coil...

-Remove spark plug wires.
-Remove distributor cap.
-Remove the gasket.
-Remove the internal coil.
-Extend the two wires that were connected to the internal coil to outside the distibutor.
-Install the new gasket.
-Install the MSD cap.
-Mount the coil.
-Run the extended wires from inside the distibutor to the correct posts on the external coil.
-Connect the the plug wire from the cap to the coil.
-Install the spark plug wires in the correct firing order.
