well the complete y8 exhaust manifold bolt up to a z6 head without any modifications? Any problems with bolting up to the existing cat converter? What about o2 sensor location?

 

all d series manifolds will bolt up to the head and it will bolt to the cat without modification. As far as the o2 sensor location im not too sure so bump for you

 

anyone know if i can plug up the o2 to the y8 without any problems?

 

isnt the y8 o2 sensor on the bottom while the z6 02 is on top??

I think this may be right but if so just splice wires to the o2 sensor to extend them to the new location.

No. Y8 is on the top as well.

please note that some d-series exhaust manifold had the cat right in front of the block i.e. vx, cx. you don't wanna put this on a motor like the z6 or y8. it would ruin the way the motor is suppose to run.
