Default OBD2 -> OBD1 ECU; wiring harness + kick panel?

Alright, so I just bought a P75 OBD1 ECU from a 95 Integra and put it into my 99 LS. The problem I'm having, however, is that the OBD2 -> OBD1 wiring harness has so much plastic and extra wire to it that I can't put the kick panel back on. Hell, I can't even get that goldish colored metal plate to bolt onto it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to clean this up? How about someone who's done this swap, take pictures of what they did?

Right now, I've got an ECU and wiring hanging out on the floor. >.<

just stuff it in ghetto style y0

I just stuffed my harness in there and made it fit, some will just hide it under the carpet , etc...

I'm sure you'll figure it out.

theres been a few threads about this as well.....some people have bent the wires for the harness and shoved the ecu back in its original place and had no problems. Other people lift up the carpet and place it under there, and othe rpeople have some how re-routed the ecu into the glove box..dont ask me how

Take off the plastic loom that the wires go through so you can bend them.

You will not be able to use the metal tray.

I was able to bolt my P72 down and put the plastic kickpanel back on, but the rear plastic bolt no longer fits, so its a little more loose than before.

that pretty much summed it up.

I didn't know if there was some kind of trick to it. I appreciate the replies, everyone. Thank you! I'll give that a shot tonight.
