i pulled the valve cover off to replace the gaskets and noticed that one of the brackets the holds the exhaust cam to the head is missing, its labeled e5. Does anyone have an idea on what i should do about getting a new one? I called wilde, called acura, called all the local salvage yards no one wants to sell me anything but a complete head if anyone has this bracket e-mail me at timothy.bindas@mu.edu or call me 4143330782 thanks

well... lets see i bought a running 90 acura integra w/ some really bad rear end damage drove it home w/ the rear tires cambered like \ / pulled the motor to swap it into my 91 hatch. so what scares me is that this guy was driving it without that cam cap....
I have a 94 integra head from one of my other motors thats just sitting around... i was thinking that i might drop that on there... but i am still in the mood to have all my cam caps :-P

 

Well I have A similar problem I had a cam go bad (peice chipped off and it ended up cracking the casing on my e6 cap so im looking for one of them and a cam. Any way I have a guy that will sell me a complete other head so If the price is right I will sell you my e5 cap and any other parts it off it you may want. Heck ill sell you the whole head really cheap if you want to pay for shipping. Pm me if your interested and anybody else for that matter maybe I can part it out and everyone can get what they need.

 

i got a set of all 32 vavle spring retainer locks. extras. i'm heading over to the classifieds right now . . .
