ok here is the situation.. I blew my motor up..(d16z6) with 5 spd. I found one close to my house but it was a auto tranny. I was wondering if that motor will go directly in my civic and bolt to my tranny(93 hatch si). I just didnt kno since the other engine was bolted to a auto tranny.

It will bolt right up. Not sure if you'll have any problems (ECU wise). Not very helpful, but that's what I know

 

YES, just swap your maual tranny over and drop it in.

 

it'll bolt right up. just swap over the flywheel/clutch, presher plate. and i think but not too sure the intake manifold

it's a straight forward swap using your old tranny, but i wonder if auto vs manual d16z6 if there is slightly any different internals or power.
