question about fog lights for a 92 Prelude
i bought a front bumper that came with fog lights on it. I was wondering how to hook it up. It did not come with switches or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a basic relay circuit.
Run a positive wire from the hot side of a switch, and ground the corresponding side of the relay. Then run the power terminal of the relay to a hot wire, usually straight to the battery. Run the corresponding negative to a chassis ground.

but they are oem shouldnt they be a perfect fit with no wire splicing. I installed one for a 99 civic coupe everything was there to wire up. no wires were needed to be cut.
I always thought they were already wired. Mine has an extra plug on each side right where the foglights would go. Take a look before you run wires....

wrong... its prewired.
if you want to get it to work you need the OEM switch and an OEM relay (i say OEM b/c i KNOW they'll work, aftermarket switches dont look as good either lol and i dont know wtf the relay is so i dont know what way to point him besides OEM on the relay so if someone else knows if some other relay would work then post up)
the wiring for the foggies should be attached to the wiring for the blinkers and wrapped in blue tape. the relay harness is up under the dash wrapped in blue tape. and the switch is also wrapped in blue tape and depending on the year will be somewhere under the dash up by the driver side tweeter or for the later years probly under the center console (i have a 92 so i dont know where exactly the wiring is for the 94-96, but im assuming since the switch goes on the console, then the wiring would be right under it)

i checked, there is extra plugs for right by the blinkers for the fog's. it lined up perfectly. Where do i go to get a oem honda switch? Honda? Where on the console does the switch go?

CLear on honda accessories. Type in any 92-96 honda prelude and all the parts are there. You can even download the instructions. As crdcz03 said, everything is pre wired. You need the switch and relay though they are not that cheap.

get a relay from the junk yard or auto parts store its cheap ($12 the most!) and just go to ebay and find a switch. I think there was one last week that sold for like $50.

Get a $4 relay from radio shack. As to the switch, either get a generic one from advance auto or the like and dremel a hole in the blank switch blocks in your center console, or get the real thing off of ebay. Expect to pay a lot. It cost me $90 for two switches.
