Hello all,
I am putting together a H22A and am missing one of the breather covers. I am no longer using balancer shafts so I am wondering if these are needed. Thanks in advance. And if possible, does someone have one for sale?

They are on the 'front' side. Opposite of the oil nozzles. Two seperate pieces. The pict is pretty big memory wise. So it might take a moment to load. I will try and link it from another server.

The pic isn't loading, I saw that you did link it correctly. The pic is down.
I just peeked in one of my torn-down motors and see what you're talking about. They're on the ends on #1 and #4 cylinders. I dunno if they're necessary w/o running the shafts, but Honda put them in there for a reason and I wouldn't run without them in there.
I'll sell you a set from an old motor; PM me if you want them.

pretty sure they aid in the oil splash to lube all the internals.. will the motor run without them, yes..
but would i trust it and have peace of mind.. no
like they said earlier, they are there for a reason so i'd get them
