Default picked up real JDM CRX. 1988 CR-X Glasstop Si.

any idea's for a cheap first mod to start her off on the right foot?
ZC engine for all those wondering.
Thinking about some headers or a decent CAI.

well I assume you want more power if thats what your talking about. Me i'd get some exospeeds cams for ZC catback and intake.

yeah, the suspension is already modded with i believe GAB adjustable Struts in the front and some other lower brand struts in the back and a set of springs. I am looking for more power i guess, but the engine only has 60k on it so it seems pretty zippy already. So basically any d16 headers/cams/CAI should fit into my crx right?

Down the longrun i plan to get a b16 so i wonder if i should just hold off on the engine mods until then. Perhaps just get a cat back exhaust and wait on the b16 to start alot of engine mods.

how much do you have to spend?

it you don't have too much'(like myself) do a hard core tune up. That will get it running to its full potential. Now if you have some cash to spend, by all means get an exhaust, header, MSD, cams, intake (overrated i think) and whatever else you think you could use.

BTW check out http://www.thezcr.com for alot of your questions in regard to the Zc

also, the engine has 60k KM on it and was tuned up before i bought it. Oil changed and air filter replaced.
Fresh work includes new gastank, new exhaust, new ball joints.

pretty awesome. There is a kamakazi header that does awesome on the ZC from what i understand. But even if you build up this ZC alittle bit you could sell it to add to your B16 fund....or you can take the money you'd put into a B16 and build a turbo'd ZC and blow the doors off a B16.

Either way good luck with it, i'd like to see some pics

it was in an accident in japan, not written off. I have the papers to back that up aswell. And the Odo might have been swapped but im pretty happy with the compression/ feel of the engine... so im torn on if i should consider it to be high miles or not... i know that most imported JDM cars have the odo swapped or toyed with.

I am friends with a good buddy of christians so i had them get the car inspected 2 times before i bought the car. I have nothing but goodness to talk about Christian and them, they left the car in edmonton here in my driveway with the keys in my hand before i even paid them. They did alot of work to get the car to my standard before i took the delievery not to mention i got a killer deal.... 5k flat plus 200 because i was amazed that they would get all the work done for me without asking me for more money.

Its a really solid car, i wouldnt mind meeting up with you if your in the st. albert area cause thats where i reside.
