Default Too much throttle an' she stalls... Lame.

So I noticed lately that my car had been having a little bit harder time than usual starting... but I figured it was no big deal. It never was a fan of cold starts so I just disregarded. Well last night I tried to start it and it just didn't want to go. A couple of tiems it turned over and sputtered a little bit (this was new). Finally she fired up and we were on our way to the video store (to rent Devil May Cry 3) when I came to a stop light and the car died shortly after I came to a stop.
At this point I looked down at my gas guage and noted that it was LOW, but it had been below E many many times before with no problems. So I turned around and went back to the gas station that I had passed. I put a few bucks in and after a couple more tries the car started up. When I went to accelerate out of the parking lot I noticed the car hesitate a bit and as soon as I got out on the road and started to accelerate more it tried to die. So I immediately let off the gas and it stayed running. But as soon as I tried to push down on the pedal much more than an inch it stalled again and I ended up coasting back down the hill home.
Once I got it in my apartment's parking lot I was able to pop the hood and take a look at things. I noticed that it idled perfectly at about 1000rpm, and that the fuel pressure (adjustable FPR & guage) was consistent at about 38psi (idle) and when I pulled on the throttle cable (lightly/slowly) it would go up to about 41psi (normal) and the engine would rev like normal. But if I pushed on the throttle just a little too quickly or too much and I could hear the intake take a big gulp of air and the it would try to die. If I didn't give up on the gas it would just die.
My first guess was that it wasn't getting enough fuel, but the fuel pressure guage seems to have disproved that. My next guess was that it wasn't getting enough air, but I took off my filter (CAI) and it acted exactly the same. Of course when I put my hand over the intake tube it would try to stall... but that would be expected.

Any ideas guys??? This is my daily driver and I cant afford to take it to a mechanic as I am unemployed and in tons of debt right now. Sorry for the long post... It's been awhile since I've hung around this board. Too bad it took a problem I was having with my car before I would come back here again.

And for those of you who read this far... thanks for at least taking a look.

I have the same problem as you do. I replaced my spark plugs, cables, dist. cap and it doesn't take me as long to start but it still struggles a bit though. Someone help I need to know as well. Thanks!

Edit: B18C1 motor swapped.
