I'm considering buying their intake. Anyone rocking one? Pros, cons?

 

intake is intake. the only thing i think may make a difference is the filter

 

dont get k&n there one of the dirtiest filters out there ( they dont filter much out). get a AMSOIL or other oil filter. i saw better throttle responce and fuel econamy with rhe AMSOIL over the k&n.

 

I wasn't really talking about the K&N filter but the intake itself.

 

Ok heres another thing when I looked up the intake on K&N's site the photo shows a very short runner arm and filter. This can't be for a rex...our intakes are always S shpped. So I guess I 'd like to know if anyone can post a pic of what the ACTUAL K&N intake system installed looks like?

 

just buy a cheap ebay one. no need to spend all the extra money for the sticker.
an intake is an intake, just get a good filter.

 

i used to rock the old skool K&N fipk(was on my car when i bought it)...heres a old pic w it on

sorry. i'm rocken the stock air box with the stock piping and the intake for the box re-routed to where the resonator was

 

Ebay is your best bet

That arm and filter costs around $150...no F******* way...

 

I'm using the K&N Typhoon intake... it's been good to me. I clean it a LOT, tho.
