I am about to purchase a new motor for my 00 si. I've got around 4500-5000 to spend. Which swap should I get and why? Thanks

K20 swap would be a lot more than 5000. Trust me, I've already looked into it

What are u doin with your B16? If you want to sell it how much? And for the motor question you could save a little and get an ITR, i have seen one swapped into a 94 coupe and watched it walk away from my brothers 96 GSR with the help of a vtec controller. If u dont want to save for type r just get a GSR motor and spend the leftover money on the motor.

lol, K series is out of the question. Im stickin with B series or H. To help out a bit, I'm torn between a ITR or an H22 swap. I know most people are probably gonna say ITR just because but I am really look for input from people who have experience with H series in civic coupes. Thanks

I already sold my b16 swap, And an ITR swap is one of the motors I am debating on.

ITR!

It'll be a blast to drive stock, and once you start upgrading

H22 swap would be sick too, but it's a much more involved swap. Only you know if you have the experience to do it.

I am capable of doing either swap (h22 or ITR). Which one would be faster stock? I've never seen a h22 swapped em1, or a itr swapped em1 for that matter in person. My guess would be the ITR but who knows, the h22 has more torque.
