Better check in the hybrids forum; we won't have a clue which ones will fit in a civic w/ their closer firewalls.

All I know is the Skunk2 manifold won't fit; others may not either.

OBX makes a stainless one that is made for boost apps.(knockoff venom same performance 1/2 price.)

I dunno what'cha talking about. The Skunk2 manifold fits. Just take a mallet to the firewall and make sure you don't mess up the heater core. I had pics of it fitting in a civic just gotta look for it.

Wow man, sounds like it just bolts right in there!

It does NOT bolt right on, and you yourself just said it. Anything that requires a BFH to make fit is NOT a bolt-right-up affair and should be left to those who are willing to beat their own cars senseless with a large piece of steel mounted on a long piece of lumber.

Yea, that's very true. Can't beat originality though. It's not a lot of banging in of the firewall. I'm actually gonna attempt this on my civic in a few weeks. We'll see.

obx wasnt an option on my list due to the cheap quality.as far as skunk2 ive heard nothing but bad things about that manifold and its def not the best choice for a boosted car.

but anymore help on the ones i listed above would be great

Skunk 2 is very good, but for turbo you should go with Venom or JG....

So you're not considering the OBX because of its "poor build quality", yet you have never even seen it?

I'll save the flaming for now and explain it to you. OBX contracts out its products to be made by other companies; they simply slap their badge on there and sell it. Their old headers sucked. Their new cams are pretty damned good. So are their LSD's, and there's a LOT more that can go wrong in an LSD if put together badly.

An intake manifold encounters very little heat compared to most parts of an engine; it doesn't move, it doesn't get heat cycled at high temp's, and generally is one of the last things that will fail on a motor.

The OBX design looks almost exactly like those of the other "big name" intake manifolds for boost.

If i were boosting, I would buy an OBX intake manifold. But do what you want w/ that money of yours

correction, i have seen it.never said i didnt.

i listed manifolds im interested in that cost 500-600im using a 70mm throttle body.i havent cheaped out on the rest of my setup, why would i now.i have a built h23 block and h22 head with a turbonetics 60-1 p-trim .81ar

you pay for what you get for.obx is cheap.and no, their lsd's are ****.guess what i'm using.quaif.good products ARENT cheap.

i can appreciate the suggestion, but i clearly turned it down.so, if i can actually get help with the ones i listed, thanks, if not, so be it

cool thanks

right now i'm leaning towards str.from what i've read in reviews, venom(which i originally really wanted) doesnt work as well and easy with stock sensors and whatnot.but str, golden eagle, and ac appear to be IDENTICAL.and since im using a str fuel rail and str tb, i might as well use their mani too

bring on more opinions tho

No problem; you are clearly one of the majority of the "tuners" that honestly believes that throwing money at a car will make it fast, and can't understand the concept that a company copying a design and selling it for cheaper can be, in fact, just as good as the copied design.

I'll leave you to pointlessly throw your money away so you can have the brand name you want.

BFH </TD></TR></TABLE>

wow....im glad someone else shares the BFH nomenclature....everyone i know is has no idea what BFH means.....

oh yeah and we should have known it will fit, you just need to use a BFH to make fit...DUH!

oh and to the thread creator....if you invested as much time into thought as money into your car, you would realize that there is a Forced Induction forum on this website.....so go ask there.....

Also, when you put periods at the ends of sentences. You put a space in between and capitalize the first letter of the next sentence. Oh, and quaife is the brand....you spent $1000 on an LSD from them and you cant even spell the name right.....
