What valve springs do you have? When you say dual, do you mean dual on both intake and exhaust sides?

CTR cams will work fine with your setup. All the other cams (even stage 1's) will wear out your valve train after constant high revs. Remember CTR cams are stock cams and you have stock valve train. Try to keep the revs within 8,000 rpm

I would go with CTR's if you don't want to upgrade the valve train.

S2S1's are good as I have them in my car, but you will need some way to tune them and raise the rev limiter a bit if you really want to enjoy them. For a car that has no or minimal tuning ability I would go with CTR's.

Cam gears will help but the FPR is to crude a device to custom tune the fuel curve. You will need some type of electronic management because in order to get the best out of my cams on my car I had to raise the VTEC engagement point up to 5900 rpm and had to do a lot of fuel adjusting to keep the curve from dipping and had to raise the rev limiter another 400 rpm. Once that was done the car worked great but when it was still using the stock ecu it wasn't nearly as fun to drive.

true it is only good for crude tuning a good investment would be the skunk2 vtec control you can mess with engagement points and air/fuel curves

Does anyone have the S2S2 camshafts? I was planning on using those in my setup, but not too many people have them. Also, what is a good place to get your ecu chipped? Someone told me that HONDATA doesn't support the p13(h22).

Are you kidding? Skunk2 stage 2 cams are used by a number of Honda guys in their cars. I have a set that I am going to be using in my new engine build, they are excellent cams to use especially if you're running 11:1+ compression. You are correct that the P13 ecu cannot be used with Hondata.

i have the S2STG2 and the rock. very agressive. only problem is having to upgrade the valve train. cams arent too terribly expensive but when you add the titanium valve springs and retainers the price goes up around $1k for the whole thing.

Do you think that the Grand spent on the cams and valvetrain upgrade is worth it? I saw some S2SIIs on ebay for $639. I'm just trying to piece my entire engine and get everything installed maybe next year so i don't have to keep retuning it.

Does everyone with a 4th gen use AEM EMS? That's the expensive route i guess - what are some alternatives?

i would def go for sk2s2 and portflow valvetrain fosho. skunk2 are very agressive and you will be able to take advantage if your running more than 11(comp) anyways dont buy skunk2 valvetrain more money and stiff as springs get portflow set up and cheaper for the money and you will be able to rev up to 9k no prob
