Default Help! White smoke coming from oil catch can.

I just got done rebuilding my b18c and was in the process of warming it up. About half an hour later, a little white smoke starts coming out of the filter on my oil catch can and starts to bubble. The engine has a 95mm stroke and an 85mm bore. I didn't replace the oil pump because I recently replaced it before my new buildup. I have an auto lite oil pressure guage and at first it was working, then I turned off my car to do some adjustments and when I turned it back on, the oil pressure guage wasn't working or wasn't reading any oil pressure. Does it seem like the oil pump failed? Some feedback would be greatly appreciated.

the smoke from your catch can is perfectly normal. thats just a little bit of blow by from the fresh rings. get a new gauge and replace it. might of had just a little crap in your oil that clogged it. try that then come back if theres anymore issues.
