Default Removing bumper from 4th Gen

Ok, i have all the screws taken off except these 3 screws under each headlight. If i cant take the headlight off until i take the bumper off, then how do i get to these three screws? There are three screws directly underneath the headlight on both sides and i have no idea how to get to them. None of the instructions i have read have even mentioned these screws. Advice please

if you look inside the engine bay near the headlight, there's a screw/bolt on each side that you have to take out also. once you get those 2 off, you can get the bumper off.

I've taken my front bumper off many times, I don't remember needing to remove these screws. There's a walkthrough on absoluteprelude.com that I used. It's the one for the JDM headlight swap. Look it up.

you also need to get the two bolts behind each turn signal, if you haven't already.

I think part of your trouble is from the fact that you are expecting the bumper cover to come off by itself. It doesn't - the metal bumper comes off with it.

if im understanding you correctly, the whole bumper support has to come off with the bumper? shouldnt the plastic urethane or whatever material it is just come off by itself?

yeah you need the take off the bumper support with the cover. the cover doesnot come off the car by it self.

for the bumper support there are two bolts on each side behind te front bumper turn signals. then there is nut on each side right be hind the headlight.

I believe thats it for the big bolts for the bumper support. besides all the bs little plastics under the bumper and in the wheel well.
