I am putting together my AEBS intake manifold x/ BBK tb and using my stock B16 throttle cable bracket, but my LS throttle cable and it seems to have entirely to much slack (about 3 inches). Do I need to get a Type R or shorter cable?? Or is there a different cable bracket I need?? Any suggestions?? This is all going on a JDM B16A in my 89 CRX
If you have some scrap metal laying around you may be able to ghetto rig a bracket to work...
If you need a throttle cable though give me a call tommorow (number in sig) and I can get you one cheap

Interesting...most people don't have enough slack and have to adjust the cable. I suggest trying to adjust it before replacing the entire cable. I have an AEBS IM with bored LS TB and I modified the stock cable bracket slightly to work on the manifold. I also mounted the intake temp sensor upside down for more clearance.

Yeah, I mounted my sensor upside down and ordered a 99 LS fuel rail. I have about 3" slack in the cable so I may try fabbing a bracket tonite. I just spoke to my friend at Acura, and they said the ITR cable and LS cable should be about the same lenght, they just mount differently on the corresponding manifolds.
What did you do to bypass coolant lines under the TB?
Again, thanks for the help

Do you know that the ITR bracket is longer than the B16 bracket? I'll search the "Engine Bay pic" thread to see if I can spot one. But if it is longer than I would definately do that.

Lax, I called you today, but you weren't in yet.
I fabbed up a bracket and polished it today, it moved the OE bracket over 3", looks good and the throttle cable seems to be exactly in the right spot, so I'll just see how well it works when I get ready to drop the motor in.
