Ok need help!
I have this 92 Accord EX as a winter beater. Its actually a pretty nice car still but it helps keep the mileage down on my G. However, it has a problem..
Has a new:
Radiator
Thermostat
Heater core
Radiator cap
Water pump
Coolant flush
Blower fan
but only gets piisss warm heat thru the vents. Put it on recirculation instead of vent it gets warmer, but not like it should. I took the heater valve (part that attaches to hot/cold ****) out so its free flowing... still just warm. Tried the whole cardboard to block radiator trick and it didnt work. Temp gauge stays dead even between H and C, cooling fans come on as normal.
Any ideas? Could it be a bad thermostat even though its new? Makes for a crappy winter car when it wont get warm inside lol
