Justice being served for ITR thieves
As some of you may know my ITR was stolen late July and later recovered the next day and three suspects arrested. The ITR was recovered in East New York parked in front of a house. Behind the house in the chop shop were the remnants of at least 10 vehicles including GSR's, Civics, and unidentified shell remnants.
The trial of the three suspects begins on Friday. I am scheduled to testify the following Tuesday. One of the suspects was on probation for auto theft prior to being arrested, and has since spent time behind bars. The other two suspects were issued bench warrants, and were later arrested and released on bail. All three have pleaded not guilty to the charges, including multiple counts of GLA, illegal stripping, and possession of stolen property.
The trial is to be held at Kings County Supreme Court. If you're interested in attending please IM me privately.
I'll keep the crowd informed of the outcome.

I would love to go...but obviously I can't. I'm about 1500 miles away.
Good luck though. Maybe the judge will let you beat them senseless as part of their punishment. (well, at least we can dream about it)

Good luck at the trial!! Seeing those fawkers get put behind bars is the best thing that could happen (although the death penalty would be much more desirable, it's probably not very likely).

Oh, how I'd wish to catch someone messing with my car...well, maybe not but in a perfect society people would respect other people's properties or lose their hands if they get caught <evil laugh>.
-Tommy who once caught a theif breaking into his house.

I wonder if the cops will take enough time to go through their bank records and such. Find out who the F*#@ is buying the parts and bring them down too.

Good! I've been reading about ITR thefts for as long as I've visited this board, and this is only the second time where I can remember thieves getting busted. The other had to do with a painfull paintball gun. I hope these a$$holes serve time for this crap and some sloppy convict makes them his bitches.
On another note, I don't think I could be in the same room with the same people who stole my car (hopefully it never happens). They would have to chain me to the floor. I genuinly hope justice is served to the utmost.

Finally some justice, maybe those a$$holes are the ones that stole my ITR. I wish whoever stole my car was caught, I would love to see their faces.
make sure you cry on the stand and make a big scene, that way the judge/jury understands how horrible it is to have your R raken away

hope they don't just go through the revolving door of the justice system
realistically, they're not gonna get much time for car theft, and if they do, they'll be eligible for parole so fast...

But he does have a strong case against them. Plus the suspect who was formerly on probation would likely get more jail time than the rest.
Justice
Hopefully with jail time their mindsets will change. If they don't, they will just get out in a year or so and start stealing or committing criminal acts again. Jail for the unjust is good, reformation for the unjust is better.

Yea, the ADA informed me of that, he said most likely they'll get a year in jail and be paroled after that.
Our justice system is pathetic. Criminals get off way too easy and have way too many rights.
