i bought cams that were supposed the be ctr cams about 2 months ago, we installed them not knowing how to tell if they are ctrs or not, but now i want to know, how can you tell whether they are or not without taking the cam out of the car, i read that they have a c and a f marking on them if they are ctrs, but mine have a m marking on both of them, which i read the skunk2 cams have, please help! i need to make sure that i have ctr cams and not just the regular b16 ones!!!!!!

you prolly got a set of s2s1's. i believe those are similar to the ctr cams.(i could be wrong though) you mentioned they have a "M" stamped on them.......

Yep, they have a M stamped there.

2 rings on the intake cam and two little lips on the part that slides next to the distributor

i know this already, but i need to know if there is anything to tell without taking the cams out of the motor

 

get a caliper and measure the vtec lobe, should be almost 37mm
