hard to turn steering wheel

Default hard to turn steering wheel

i put my my friends 15 inch rims from an 02 si, but for some reason, its so much harder to turn the steering wheel, nyone know why?

Are you saying that the wheels are hard to turn when the car is stopped, or rolling?

low pro tires? if so you dont have the flex from the tires so it feels harder to turn.

Well if you went from the stock 13's, to the 15's which are noticable wider there is bigger contact patch from tires now then there was before. More tire on the ground means more grip. Thus making it harder to turn the wheel at a stand still.

I didn't not much of a difference when upgrading from 13's to 15's.

nothing.

my guess is you just have more grip now... more grip = harder to turn.
