the dc5-r
I cant seem to find a lot of information on this site about the dc5-r except that it isnt for sale here in the states. I'm wondering if the dc5 has certain cosmetic upgrades like the old ITR lip etc. that I might want to transfer over to a regular S.
It doesn't. That is a soft limiter, every car in Japan has one. My A'pexi RSM easily cut out that limiter. We don't have very large roads here, but I have had mine up to 229km/h(141mph) in the rain!
That was in 6th gear and the car was still pulling hard, but I was coming up on traffic.

Guy check my profile, I own one, I live in Japan. Like I said, all cars in Japan have a soft governor set at 180km/h. Kei cars(660cc) are limited to 140km/h.
The only cars to have a higher shown speed limit are the NSX-R (NA2) and the Skyline GT-R VSpec Nismo model.

They are listed at 220ps about 217hp, on a dynapack it registered 215ps (not mine, this is in the HyperRev Integra#3). That is awfully high, but that is what the dyno showed.
