So I did a search all over honda tech... CEL code #1 Bad 02 sensor
This is the primary o2 sensor that goes to the air intake correct? Either way is there any remedy as to what I should do. I only found 2 threads concerning a bad o2 sensor.
I really need some help, my car is throwing this code immediately after warming up and my ecu is running in open loop. I cant hit 8k rpm w/o it cutting off my fuel injectors and the car is running rich as **** right now. HEEEELP!!!

Well, it could be a bunch of things. Do you have a multimeter? Warm the car up, then tap into the sensor wires and measure the voltage.
It will give various readings all between 0 and 1 Volt. The closer to 1 Volt the richer the engine condition. Any value below .6Volts indicates a really lean operating condition.
There are 3 different sets of readings you will get:
Idle - Voltage will fluctuate between .1 and .95 volts, this is totally normal as the computer is always playing with the mixture.
Accelerating - Voltage should stay above .88
Decelerating - Voltage will drop since little or no fuel is being delivered. 0-.2 volts is normal with some .85 spikes
If you aren't getting any readings higher than .6 volts chances are your oxygen sensor is fouled and needs replacing. Unfortunately there is no way to clean an O2 sensor.
Also, look at the connector to see if it is tight and oil free. Further, inspect the wires to make sure they are not cut or shaffed.
Now if you are going to replace it, remember, they are easier to remove when the manifold is warm.

ah that may be it. my passenger side axle boot exploded and I need to replace the axle, meanwhile I have ******* axle grease up the asscheeks down there on everything in my engine bay. I'll have to check it out and make sure its not covered in the sticky stuff.
