Default help with rear sway bar install...

I need advice on installing a rear sway bar on an 88 CRX HF. The 88 HF's do not have the treaded holes on the frame for the L bracket, but I figured welding a plate there would provide enough support for the sway bar. Also since I have the type r LCA's I am not sure how to bolt up the ends of the sway bar. The U shaped LCA does not seem like it would provide enough support if I just bolt the sway bar to one side of the LCA. I thought about drilling out larger holes on each side of the LCA and just running a large bolt through both side. Any ideas?

the 88 Si rear LCA just had a nut welded to the hole. that seems perfectly fine. it matches up exactly with 89+ LCA. i would just run the bolt through the current hole and put a washer and nut on it and be done with it.

what rear sway bar are you using? suspension techniques has extra hardware to install on non Si control arms using the shock mount bolt. the 88 shock bolt is a bit smaller, but you could just use a 89+ bolt and be fine.
