i missed scheduled maintenence and after like 2000 miles the light came on.How do I turn it off? I know what to do with paper clip sort of,but need more info.
Please help me

The maintenance light is just a mileage reminder, it's completely different from the check-engine light. There's a button under the dashboard, above your right knee. It faces towards the gas pedal so you can't see it unless you stick your head down at the pedals. Press that button when you turn on the key, after half a minute the light will go out.
