i searched everywhere and cant find an o.e. fiberglass replacement fender
everything i find has z3, c5, c1, etc vents formed into em
i want a plain stock looking fiberglass fender and nobody seems to make them

any help would be awesome

the last thing i wanna do is get a lame "z3" style and re glass over the holes

 

go to the junkyard and find a tuned up (whatever your car is) and take it. some make you take it off yourself

 

why get fiberglass fenders? have you ever had the fenders off one of these cars? they litereally weigh nothing as it is because they are so thin.

if you need fenders, just do like the guy said and pull some from a junkyard

if i wanted stock steel fenders the title of this thread would say "steel fenders"

i want oe style fiberglass fenders not for the weight, however the flexability i have with building and modifing them to my every desire

fiberglass is by far one of my best talents and in michigan steel always = rust

so to kill 2 birds with one stone, this is what i want to find

 

I had to get the fiberglass z3's. I haven't seen any stock fiberglass ones for sale.

 

so you were on the same quest for glass fenders with no result? thats discouraging, either way i need to get some fenders eventually

 

I have never seen fiberglass fenders without the vents for the ed chassis. So it looks like the vented type is really the only option unless you can have some custom made from a mold of an original steel fender.

 

if i make a mold and reproduce the fender into fiberglass, do you think there would be a market for em? (if i make a mold i can make multiples)

 

If you're so good at it just get the zc and fix them.. Nobody likes z3 fenders anymore so im sure you can find them VERY cheap

 

tsudo use to make them look them up and see if they still do

the steel ones are rusting
