What radiator fan for a 92civic with GSR motor?
I just found out my radiator fan is not working and im planning to get a light wieght radiator fan. Any one knows a good one? Do i get the civic radiator fan or the GSR radiator fan.
You have a civic radiator so you need a civic radiator fan. But are you sure its the fan that isnt working or is it the wiring or something else. If you want a new one a guy on ebay has good deals for 12'' fans.
yea im pretty sure it's the fan. i check on ebay and they seem so cheap. i really want a racing radiator fan. it's lighter and better people says. You know any good one's
my buddy has a 92 hatch with a b18c5 turbo with an aluminum dual core radiator with the factory fans, and never overheats. He has even been stuck in traffic on the way to Las Vegas in 115 degree weather and still didn't overheat.
i just put my new radiator couple of days ago and the fan still did not run. The new radiator is pretty koo and i just order the fan on ebay. my new radiator is pretty weird without the fan. Im warming up my car and the heat thing that stay in the middle on your clusther that tell you if your car is over heating I mean it stay in the middle but when i drive it go down sometime then back to the middle. Is that KOO? It never pass the middle tho.
yeh but i would still get a fan . when ure driving air is passing through the radiator pretty well but when u sit still its hard for the heat to dissapate from the radiator.
racing also adds tons of heat

Check to see if your thermostat is stuck open or missing. If it is really cold, you might want to cover part of the radiator with a little cardboard to let the water temp come up to normal. It is bad for your engine to run cold all of the time.
