Default few ?? before i juice the teg

ok guys after deciding that turbo probally isnt the best way to go for my daily driver i decided to take a look at nitrous for some fun at the track or that occasional highway run. im currently running a stock LS on b16 tranny with i/h/e/ with some 67k. compression is fine all the way across and it runs great. i jus bought a nx wet kit for $300 looking at shooting just a 50 shot and all goes well ill go to a 75 shot. the people i have talked to say all i need are some colder plugs and i should be good to go. others i talk to say i need bigger injectors, fuel pump ect. before i buy anything i really wanna know what else i will need. if its going to be alot ill probally just sell the kit. reliability is an issue cause its my daily driver. any input would be great. also any input on how u guys think the juice would work in conjunction wid the shorter geared tranny..... thanks guys

go ahead...your set to squeezzzzzzz.

if it is the wet kit then you dont need larger injectors. maybe a fuel pump would be considered if you are going more than 75 shot.

other than that make sure timing is retarded for nitrous.

have fun juicing...

ull need ignition if you wanna do a 75 shot and if i were you id buy the rpm window switch because if you tap the rev limiter while using da juice then bad things will happen

I think you'll be safe enough with a 50 shot, but colder plugs and retarding the timing 1 or 2 degrees would be playing it safe, and highly recommended for a 75 shot

Ok, this is how nitrious works: You add more oxygen to a fuel mixture and it burns better.
Ok this is how a oxy acetelene torch that is used for cutting through motor blocks and hard metals works: You add more oxygen to a fuel mixture and it burns better.
Get my drift? A lot of guys don't know the concept behind nitrious but they know bits and peices of working with it, like retarding timing and spark plugs. To prevent your nitrious setup from turning into a cutting torch on you motor you not only have to ad nitrious but fuel. When you add the correct amount of oxygen and fuel everything works properly, more power is produced and your block is safe. You said that you have a wet system. So that means that your already adding more fuel to the mixture as well as nitrious. The greatest concern when going with a 75 is that you may not be adding enough fuel as compared with the 50 shot. Now if your kit is designed for a 50 shot and thats what your spraying than your safe. But if you trying to exceed the operating limits of your system I would take it to a shop that has a dyno and have them tune your fuel to nitrious mixture. If you do that you can be safe up to a 100 shot.

this all depends on how hard you are running your car, how often you plan on squeezing, etc. i would upgrade the fuel pump and go with an aftermarket ignition. remember, running lean on a nitrous pass only once, could destroy your bottom end. it is always better to be safe rather than sorry. i ran a 100 shot on a stock bottom end gs-r for over a year and had no problems. i built the bottom end so i could run a higher shot (150). this car is my daily driver and has been for almost 4 years!
